We are looking for a dedicated and responsible individual to serve as our Sexton. This role is essential for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to serving the community.
Duties include, but not limited to:
Clean offices, meeting, and worship spaces. Put trash out every week.
Open and tidy up the sanctuary & hall for service on Sunday.
Sweep and mop the bathrooms, clean the toilets, and wipe down the mirrors.
Sanitize railings and door knobs.
Sweep and mop the steps.
Vacuum the education rooms.
Set up and take down chairs and tables for service and other special functions.
Perform special cleaning projects as assigned, especially during the Easter and Christmas seasons.
Undertake minor building repairs.
Promptly report maintenance and/or repair needs to the Pastor.
Alert the Pastor when supplies drop below a two-month supply of paper products, cleaning products, hand soap, and trash bags.
At least one year of facility maintenance is preferred.
PA Child Line Clearance is required.
Physical Demands
Climb stairs and ladders, as well as bend and push.
The ability to move, carry, and lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to work flexible hours as needed for events or special occasions.

Schedule: 5 hours on Wednesday evening & 2 hours on Sunday morning are a must; other days/times are flexible.
