Job Title: Incoming Quality Control (QC) Inspector

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Incoming Quality Control (QC) Inspector. This individual will be responsible for inspecting and verifying the quality of all incoming finished goods product and components before they are accepted into inventory or scrapped. This role ensures that all products meet company specifications and quality standards and helps prevent nonconforming items from entering the manufacturing or fulfillment process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect incoming water coolers finished goods upon arrival
- Verify part numbers, quantities, and packaging conditions against purchase orders
- Conduct visual and basic functional inspections per QC checklist
- Complete and maintain inspection records, checklists, and non-conformance reports
- Tag and isolate any nonconforming items
- Maintain accurate data in ERP or quality tracking systems
- Follow sampling plans (e.g., ANSI Z1.4) based on lot size and AQL level
- Assist in basic tests (e.g., electrical continuity, leak testing) as required
- Notify the QA Management team of discrepancies or quality issues
- Coordinate with Warehouse to resolve holds or rejections
- Support root cause analysis and corrective action follow-up for supplier defects
- Maintain cleanliness and 5S of inspection area
- Follow all safety and quality procedures
- Assist in incoming quality audits and supplier performance evaluations
Qualifications and Skill:
· Associates degree or higher education required
· 1–2 years of experience in quality inspection or product testing preferably in manufacturing or warehousing
· Familiarity with quality standards and sampling plans (e.g., AQL, ISO 9001)
· Ability to read part drawings/specifications and use basic measurement tools
· Strong attention to detail, good documentation skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving mindset
· Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, ERP/RMS entry)
Work Conditions:
- Warehouse or production environment with regular standing, lifting, and equipment use
- May handle heavy packages (up to 50 lbs) and perform repetitive tasks
- Use of PPE as required (e.g., gloves, safety glasses)
