Successful and growing independent insurance agency seeking a qualified and licensed property and casualty insurance professional to join our team.
Must have an active Property and Casualty Insurance license before applying and selected candidate is expected to remain current in product changes, licensing, and continuing education.
Must have experience in Insurance Customer Service. Experience within the independent insurance agency environment a plus.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Work insurance renewals and actively cross sell other lines of insurance.
- Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service will include responding to inquiries regarding insurance coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
- Bonus paid for previous customer recaptures.
Requirements
- Property & Casualty license (required)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Friendly and people-oriented, dedicated to customer service
- Ability to multi-task with attention to detail
- Ability to provide appropriate solutions for the customer within the multi-carrier agency environment
- Proactively cross sell other lines of insurance.
- Must be willing to make outgoing phone calls to service customers
- Must be coachable and willing to learn.
Salary commensurate with experience. Paid holidays. Christmas Bonus. Great, central location on 377 across from Walmart. NO Smoking and NO drama office environment.
Daily office hours are 8:30-5pm, Monday - Thursday. 8:30-4pm on Fridays; 1 hour lunch breaks.
