Summary of Duties:

The Intake Director has the responsibility for assessment, referral, and admission activities. This position interfaces closely with the facility’s medical staff, nursing staff, fellow department heads, and administration, as well as external referring agencies and payers. The Intake Director is responsible for the department’s budget, policies and procedures, regulatory compliance, service excellence, and data management/analysis. In addition, the Intake Director participates with the senior leadership team in the development and management of processes related to Calvary Healing Center's strategic goals. The Intake Director reports directly to the hosptial's CEO.

Intake Director Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in social work, mental health/behavioral sciences, or related field required; Master's Degree preferred.
• A minimum five (5) years direct clinical experience in psychiatric or mental health treatment setting.
• Experience in patient assessment, family motivation, treatment planning and communication with external review orgaizations or comparabale entities.
• Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Completion of BLS and First Aid Certification within 30 days of employment
• Completion of the Verbal De-Escalation training within 30 days of employment
• Must agree to a Motor Vehicle Driving Record check as part of the background check process and that record must be in good standing.
