Job Description: An interventional radiology technologist will assist interventional radiologists with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures that use instruments to treat conditions in the body. They are responsible for operating and maintaining specialized imaging equipment, administering contrast dyes, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
Shifts Available: Days - 5*8hr shifts 8:00 AM-4:00 PM EST, Weekends required
Per Week: 40 Guaranteed Hours
Pay:
For Locals: W2 $70/hourly | $2800/weekly
For Travellers: W2 Blended $78/hr.- $3120/Weekly (For 40 guaranteed Hours)
Taxable: $800/weekly
Non-Taxable/Stipends: $2320/weekly
Overtime Rate is 1.5 of Regular rate | Weekly Payments
Duration: 13 weeks with possibilities of Extension
Start: ASAP
Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience using angiographic equipment, balloon angioplasty and stenting.
Prefers to have someone who has knowledge in Computed Tomography
Certification:
- Valid license as a radiologic technologist issued by NYSDOH. (manager willing to accept out of state license if candidate is willing to obtain NY license after offer)
- BLS certification issued by AHA
- Advanced-Level Certification (only need 1) from ARRT to include one of the following:
- -ARRT (CI) - Cardiac Interventional Radiology.
- -ARRT (CV) - Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology.
- -ARRT (VI) - Vascular Interventional Radiology
