Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse for our Medical/Surgical unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment. This role requires a strong commitment to patient assessment, medication administration, and effective communication with both patients and healthcare team members.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine care needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications accurately and monitor patients for side effects or adverse reactions.
- Perform essential nursing procedures including suture application, airway management, and family planning education.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and treatment plans.
- Utilize medical imaging techniques as needed to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment.
- Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with ICD-10 coding standards.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment options.
- Participate in continuous professional development and training opportunities to enhance nursing skills.
Qualifications
- Grad of an Accredited Program
- Experience Required: 1+ years of RN experience
- RN license.
- Must have BLS certification or get it within 30 days of starting in this role.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $32.25 - $53.00 per hour
