Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape maintenance and irrigation systems, with the ability to build, install, and maintain irrigation systems for various garden and landscape settings. This role requires mechanical knowledge and proficiency with hand and power tools to ensure efficient watering solutions for our clients.
Duties
- Maintain irrigation systems for residential and commercial landscapes.
- Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting of irrigation systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Dig trenches for piping installation and repair as needed.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete installation tasks.
- Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to integrate irrigation solutions into overall lawn care plans.
- Provide recommendations for improvements or upgrades to existing irrigation systems based on observed performance.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including system installations, repairs, and maintenance schedules.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance or lawn care is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to irrigation systems is essential.
- Ability to work with hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Familiarity with building and digging techniques relevant to irrigation installation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various weather conditions.
- A valid driver's license is required.
