Title: HelpDesk Support
Location: 425 S. Palos Verdes Street, San Pedro, CA 90731
Duration: 12 Months contract
Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Respond to Help Desk inquiries via email, online chats, over the phone or in person.
- Help with troubleshooting hardware and software.
- Assess first-level problem determination and provide resolution.
- Assign work order tickets to the appropriate second-levelsupport.
- Perform systems administrator functions, including creating user accounts, granting
appropriate access, and inputting user data.
- Assist with processing IT equipment salvage.
- Perform related duties with internal customers and Information Technology staff.
Requirements
- Working experience in roles such as HelpDesk Computer Operator, Data Entry Operator or IT
Support Specialist.
- Experience and proficiency in the use and support of MS Office applications, Windows OS, job
scheduling software and other tools for remote support such as Microsoft Remote Desktop,
Dameware, and Configuration Manager Remote Control.
- Working experience with Active Directory.
- Experience with Exchange Admin Center is preferred but not required.
- Experience in using HelpDesk ticketing systems such as Track-IT or ServiceNow.
- Comprehensive knowledge of computer systems and experience troubleshooting hardware and
software.
- Basic organizational and analytical skills, including problem ownership and root cause analysis.
- Excellent customer service, along with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
