A Global Trading and Distribution company specializing in raw/base Chemicals for the Personal-Care and Cosmetics industries is currently seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative who is bilingual in Japanese and English to join their sales team near Fort Lee, NJ. This role is ideal for a sales professional with a strong background in the chemical raw materials sector, particularly within the personal care and beauty products segment. This position also offers growth potential into a managerial role after demonstrating strong leadership skills and delivering on sales targets.

Key Responsibilities for Outside Sales Representative (Japanese bilingual):
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients in the health and beauty industry
- Identify new business opportunities and strategically expand the customer base
- Provide technical product knowledge and consultative solutions to meet client needs
- Conduct regular in-person meetings and presentations with customers
- Collaborate with internal departments such as logistics, purchasing, and technical teams to ensure seamless customer service
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies
- Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and performance metrics
Qualifications for Outside Sales Representative (Japanese bilingual):
- 4-5+ years of sales experience in the chemical raw materials industry, with a focus on health and beauty applications
- Working proficiency in Japanese and English (including reading and writing)
- Proven track record of successful business development and client management
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with the ability to work independently
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business/Marketing, or related field preferred
- Advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Comfortable working in a multicultural environment
- Ability to travel up to 75%, including overnight stays
- Valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record
