Growing veterinary Hospital in Yorktown, Virginia looking for caring animal care technicians for our team. Our Animal Care Technicians are on duty 7 days a week so a flexible schedule must include possible weekdays, weekends, and major holidays. Experience not required but preferred. If you are a responsible, energetic, and hard-working pet lover, we will provide training. We have excellent benefits.
Kennel duties include walking dogs (both hospitalized and boarding), cleaning runs & cages (in both the kennel and hospital areas), feeding pets in the kennel, laundry, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the hospital.
Assisting Veterinary staff when needed with restraint of animal patients, etc.
Providing treatments to hospitalized patients and boarders.
This position requires a reliable, responsible individual who is capable of working independently. A caring and compassionate attitude is required of all members of our team. Qualified candidates must be committed to providing the highest quality in patient care, demonstrating client communication skills, as well as embracing and contributing to a positive team-work environment.
