Job Summary:
We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Kitchen Designer to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with clients to understand their vision, create innovative and functional kitchen layouts, and manage projects from concept through installation. Your design expertise, knowledge of materials, and project coordination skills will be essential in delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their kitchen needs, lifestyle, and aesthetic preferences.
- Create innovative and functional kitchen designs tailored to individual client requirements.
- Provide expert recommendations on materials, finishes, fixtures, and appliances.
- Develop detailed layout and technical drawings using CAD software.
- Present design concepts and revise plans based on client feedback.
- Coordinate with contractors, installers, and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate project execution.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and inventory to maintain efficiency and client satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new materials, and emerging technologies in kitchen design.
- Utilize CRM systems to manage client interactions and track project progress.
- Maintain strong account management practices to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Use POS systems for ordering, inventory management, and product tracking.
Requirements & Skills:
- Proven experience in kitchen design, interior design, or a related field.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as Pro Kitchen (what we use), AutoCAD, SketchUp, or 2020 Design.
- Strong understanding of interior design principles, space planning, and ergonomics.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills for engaging with clients and vendors.
- Highly organized with strong time management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects.
- Experience with CRM and POS systems.
- In-depth knowledge of kitchen products, materials, and appliances.
- Multilingual abilities are a strong asset.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for creative design solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree or certification in Interior Design or a related field.
- A professional portfolio showcasing kitchen design projects.
- Experience with custom or high-end residential kitchen design.
