Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and hospitality, contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests. This role involves working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
- Support the culinary team during busy service periods by bussing tables and ensuring that all necessary supplies are readily available.
- Follow all food safety guidelines to ensure the highest quality of food is served to guests.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and excellent customer service.
- Participate in banquet setups as needed, ensuring that all food presentation meets our high standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment, such as in a restaurant or hotel setting, is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude towards guests and team members.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
