Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various painting techniques and a strong understanding of the painting process across different environments, including residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes. Attention to detail and a commitment to safety are essential for this role.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Execute remodeling projects that may involve stucco application and trim carpentry.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand project specifications and requirements.
- Perform basic math calculations for measuring areas and estimating material needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the duration of projects.
- Adhere to safety protocols while working with various tools and materials.
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential painting, construction painting, or industrial painting.
- Familiarity with stucco application techniques is preferred.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to painting tasks.
- Knowledge of frame carpentry and trim carpentry is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand schematics related to painting projects.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Pay: $20.06 - $21.38 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- No weekends
