Mission Hills Luxury Apartments has an immediate opening for a full-time Leasing Agent.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dependable, customer-focused Leasing Agent to join our team at Mission Hills Luxury Apartments, a 556-unit residential community. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for both current and prospective residents, providing exceptional service and support throughout the leasing process. As the face of the community, you'll work closely with the management team to ensure a welcoming and responsive experience for all. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter, a collaborative team player, and brings prior leasing experience. This position follows a Sunday through Thursday schedule and includes commission pay, a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, and a 401(k) with employer match.
Leasing Agent Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Greet and assist prospective residents, providing tours and detailed information about the community, floor plans, pricing, and availability
- Respond promptly to inquiries via phone, email, and walk-ins
- Guide applicants through the leasing process, including application, screening, approvals, and lease signing
- Acquaint the new residents with leasing documentation, property rules and policies, apartment functions, and emergency procedures to ensure resident satisfaction upon move-in
- Collect application fees, security deposits, and rent payments
- Coordinate property maintenance and the entering of work orders
- Assist in renewal workflow and general office tasks
- Prepare and maintain accurate leasing files and reports
- Support resident retention efforts by responding to questions, concerns, and service requests with professionalism and care
- Collaborate with the Property Manager and maintenance team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Maintain knowledge of current market conditions and competitive properties
- Assist with marketing efforts and outreach to attract prospective residents
- Ensure model units and common areas are tour-ready and well-presented
Leasing Agent Qualifications and Skills:
- Prior leasing or sales experience required (1+ years preferred)
- Basic proficiency with property management software, Microsoft Office, and CRM tools
- Working knowledge of Fair Housing
- Strong customer service mindset with a professional and friendly demeanor
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
