Job Opening:
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of a vibrant mixed-use property featuring both residential and commercial spaces. This is a live-on-site position, and free housing is provided as part of the compensation package.
As the on-site manager, you’ll be responsible for tenant relations, maintenance coordination, financial oversight, and ensuring the property operates efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with local regulations. Your leadership will help foster a clean, secure, and welcoming community for all who live and work here.
Your Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the entire property
- Respond to tenant inquiries and manage leasing activities
- Supervise maintenance, janitorial, and security teams
- Handle rent collection and monitor the property’s budget
- Prepare and submit monthly financial and occupancy reports
- Ensure compliance with all safety codes and housing laws
- Identify opportunities to improve occupancy and overall performance
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well-kept environment
What We’re Looking For
- At least 3 years of experience in property management or a related field
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, or a similar discipline
- Strong knowledge of leases, maintenance coordination, and housing regulations
- Proven experience with budgeting and rent collection
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Willingness to live on-site (housing provided)
Essential Skills
- Strong leadership and sound decision-making
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio, Buildium)
- Basic understanding of building systems and maintenance procedures
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Comfort with financial reporting and budget tracking
- Highly organized, motivated, and results-oriented
