Position Summary:
Moments Hospice is seeking a dedicated and service-oriented Level One IT Helpdesk Technician to join our Lakewood, NJ office. This entry-level position is ideal for someone looking to grow in the IT field, supporting day-to-day technical needs for staff across the organization. You will be the first point of contact for technical issues and responsible for providing timely and effective support to end users, both in person and remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, phones, and other IT equipment
Respond to helpdesk tickets via phone, email, and ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution or proper escalation
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues
Set up and configure new employee workstations and accounts
Assist with onboarding/offboarding of employees, including account setup and deactivation
Maintain and update documentation of IT processes and user guides
Monitor and maintain office equipment and manage basic network troubleshooting
Work closely with the IT Manager to support company-wide IT projects
Support end-users with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Zoom, and other common tools
Ensure adherence to HIPAA compliance and company data security standards
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in IT or related field preferred
1+ year of IT support or helpdesk experience preferred (internships acceptable)
Familiarity with Windows OS, Microsoft Office 365, and general networking concepts
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills
Ability to learn quickly and work independently in a fast-paced environment
Reliable, organized, and proactive with a team-first mindset
Must be able to work on-site full-time in Lakewood, NJ
