Nature of Work:
Under general supervision, the Maintenance Associate will be in charge of the grounds, building and equipment maintenance. In addition, they will work with staff when needed with building and breaking down of sets and any miscellaneous tasks that may require their assistance.
Examples of work performed:
- Grounds Maintenance
- Oversees the landscaping duties, including grass cutting, tree and shrub pruning
- Plants seasonal flowers
- Upkeeps and winterizes the lawn sprinkler system in coordination with local contractor
- Oversees snow removal of the property
- Maintains condition and appearance of the sidewalk
- In charge of the parking lot lighting system
- Maintains the correct process for the flag
- Building Maintenance
- Removes all trash and recyclables from interior office, lunchrooms, breakrooms and storage areas
- Dusts, vacuums and cleans windows weekly
- Troubleshoots HVAC, plumbing and electrical needs
- Performs all maintenance issues as they arise
- Maintains the fish tank
- Equipment Maintenance
- Maintains vehicles to be in working order
- Completes maintenance logs for all repairs
- Winterizes all boats and seasonal equipment
- Miscellaneous duties
- Assists staff with building and breaking down of sets
- Maintains inventory of mailroom supplies
- Shipping and mailing duties
- Coordinates with local vendors

Qualifications:
- Minimum
- High School Diploma od General Education Degree(GED)
- 3+ years’ experience in field
- Ability to acquire or produce and maintain a valid driver’s license and meet company vehicle driving standards.
- Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
- Preferred
- Certification or additional degree in related field
Competencies/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- General Knowledge of HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, automotive, boat and trailer maintenance needs
- Knowledge of hand power tools and common tools
- Ability to use power equipment such as lawn mowers, string trimmers and snow blowers
- Strong organizational and follow up skills
- Ability to work outside year round in different seasonal conditions
- Ability to operate vehicle while towing boat/trailer
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and related applications
