Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and functionality of our facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance tasks, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and maintaining a safe environment for all. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of facilities to ensure optimal functionality.
- Conduct residential painting and repair tasks as needed.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues, including the use of logic controllers.
- Fabricate parts or components as necessary to maintain equipment.
- Utilize tools such as an Ohmmeter for electrical testing and diagnostics.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing tenant or client concerns promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with other team members to improve maintenance processes and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems effectively.
- Familiarity with electrical systems, including the use of logic controllers.
- Experience in residential painting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a logical approach to tasks.
- Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating professionalism at all times.
