Superior Hardwoods, as part of the Baillie Group, is hiring an experienced Maintenance Manager. This is a full-time opportunity working for a world class hardwood lumber manufacturer.
Maintenance Manager
Responsibilities:
- Coordination and prioritization of a maintenance team addressing all daily maintenance and projects on site.
- Further development and oversight of current Preventative Maintenance program to increase up time and productivity.
- Daily communication with peers and superiors on status of repairs and projects.
- To provide yearly budgets for all departments and once approved by the officers, operate at or below the budget for all responsible departments.
- Ensure all employees in your responsible areas are following all policies, with a heavy emphasis on Safety.
- Submit and control all Maintenance related purchases.
- Minimum 45 hours per week.
- Supportive of the leadership, positive attitude, follow and enforce all company policies.
- Manage and take ownership of above responsibilities.
- Formally review all direct reports at least twice per year
- Execute all directives and initiatives.
- Operate within cost and budget objectives and targets.
