Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to supervise the Maintenance Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing our facility, to assure that our facility is maintained in a safe and comfortable manner. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a solid background in industrial maintenance, with expertise in managing various systems including HVAC, electrical, and mechanical components. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance management, ensuring that all equipment operates at peak performance while adhering to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and support in daily operations.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure optimal performance of all equipment.
- Oversee the use of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders, inventory, and maintenance history.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
- Manage projects related to facility upgrades, repairs, and installations while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities with production schedules.
- Train staff on proper maintenance techniques, safety protocols, and the use of tools such as ohmmeters and schematics.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, including high voltage and low voltage electrical work.
Skills
- Proven management experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLC) and HVAC systems.
- Familiarity with facilities management principles and practices.
- Proficient in English with excellent communication skills for effective team leadership.
- Solid mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience for troubleshooting various systems.
- Understanding of industrial maintenance practices including project management skills.
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings related to maintenance tasks.

Pay: $68,640.00 - $80,000.00 per year
