Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems, HVAC, and facilities management, along with excellent supervisory skills. This role is crucial in ensuring that all maintenance activities are carried out efficiently and effectively to maintain the operational integrity of our facilities.
Duties
- Supervise and manage a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of items, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating with other departments to minimize disruptions.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify areas needing repair or improvement.
- Implement preventive maintenance programs to enhance the longevity of equipment and systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory management.
Skills
- Proven experience in supervising maintenance teams and managing personnel effectively.
- Strong knowledge of troubleshooting techniques.
- Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings related to electrical systems.
- Excellent project management skills, capable of overseeing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Solid understanding of HVAC systems and their maintenance requirements.
- Experience in facilities management, ensuring all aspects of building operations are maintained at optimal levels.
- Familiarity with using an ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools for electrical troubleshooting.
