- Well supported Maintenance Department by applying accurate and efficient administration practices
Accountabilities include the following:
- Monitor to ensure mechanics are using RTA (fleet management software) effectively to track and manage shop productivity, shop scheduling, parts ordering and detailed repair documentation
- Communicate with the Purchasing Department to ensure proper parts billing and returns
- Collect and document driver satisfaction feedback from drivers regarding recent repairs
- Efficiently and accurately create Outside Vendor Work Orders in RTA
- Contact vendors to schedule outside towing/repairs
- Implement corrections as needed in RTA
- Maintain truck files
- Ensure all truck hours are updated appropriately at month’s end
Schedule:
- 7:00am - 4:00pm (or as needed)
- Monday - Friday (Occasional Saturday)
Qualifications include the following:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years’ experience working in an administrative role that required reprioritization throughout the day based on the needs of the team
- Diesel and heavy equipment maintenance knowledge preferred
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, MS Teams and Outlook preferred
- Problem solver, detail-oriented, continuous learner and customer service-oriented
