Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical and electrical background, with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain various systems within our facility. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of equipment and systems, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining safety standards.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment.
- Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation.
- Dismantle machinery and remove/replace defective parts.
- Maintain inventories of equipment parts and supplies by checking stock and placing orders.
- Provide mechanical maintenance and trouble-shooting information by answering questions and request to other maintenance staff and OEM team members.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing maintenance requests promptly.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
- Collaborate with other team members to enhance operational efficiency.
- Open and close out work orders with details of work completed and parts used.
- Use LOTO procedures.
Requirements
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in maintenance roles.
- Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including respirator.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Ability to work in elevated areas (four feet and above).
- Knowledge of E & I (Electrical & Instrumentation) practices preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to detect issues quickly.
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), such as EMAINT.
- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues with little to no guidance.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- At least 3 years in a Maintenance related role and experience with electrical wiring in industrial equipment.

Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
