Essential Duties
As a part of the Sunrise team, supporting our Mission, Principles of Service and Core Values is a fundamental part of this job. Our foundational belief is the sacred value of human life. The unique responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to the essential functions listed as follows:
- Actively manage the day to day payroll activities
- Reconcile biweekly payrolls for both the US and Canada
- Work closely with ADP US and Canada to resolve payroll issues quickly and efficiently
- Review biweekly PAU files for compliance and accuracy
- Create earnings and deduction code setup forms as required to provide to ADP
- Monitor and update payroll related forms on company intranet (TeamLink)
- Participate in yearend planning meetings for both US and Canada
- Maintain compliance in assigned required training and all training required by state/province or other regulating authorities as applicable to this role to ensure that Sunrise standards are always met.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience and Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed throughout this job description are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of Payroll Management experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field preferred.
- Payroll processing with a large company
- Previous ADP experience a plus
- Must be familiar with Federal, State and local requirements
- Familiarity PeopleSoft financials
- An understanding of Canadian payroll and taxes
- Past Kronos Work Force Central experience a plus
- Experience managing a team to drive results
- Must demonstrate the ability to multitask and perform under deadlines
