Position overview
We’re seeking a dynamic and analytical Marketing & Growth Strategy Analyst to support the firm’s growth initiatives and client engagement strategy. Based in either our New York or San Jose office, this individual will play a key role at the intersection of marketing, sales strategy, and data analysis.
This is an in-person role requiring a presence in the office at least four days a week. The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, self-driven, and passionate about business development in a professional services environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyze client industries, market trends, and competitive landscapes to inform strategic business decisions.
- Create compelling business proposals, marketing collateral, and firm capability statements.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative business research to identify opportunities and guide initiatives.
- Manage data, timelines, and deliverables across multiple projects with precision.
- Collaborate with Partners and leadership to develop and implement business development strategies.
- Coordinate and execute firm-hosted events and client engagement activities.
- Gain a deep understanding of the intellectual property legal landscape and contribute to positioning the firm as a thought leader in the industry.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Journalism, Psychology, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in a professional services or legal environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills—you’re a confident communicator
- Highly analytical mindset with a knack for identifying opportunities and connecting dots.
- Detail-oriented with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (including PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis).
- Familiar with AI tools.
- A collaborative mindset and a healthy curiosity about IP law, technology, and innovation.
