Ada Dermatology is seeking an experienced full-time Medical Assistant. The ideal candidate should have excellent customer service, computer and organizational skills. He/she should have the ability to work in a fast paced environment and have flexibility in their schedule. The desired candidate would have 1-2 years of previous medical assisting experience, preferably in dermatology, although this is not required. Reliability and Flexibility are essential.
Assists in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician or other medical provider.
- Rooms patients
- Interviews patients
- Records history
- Scribes
- Surgical set-up
- Assists providers with biopsies and surgical procedures
- Dressings and suture removals
The position entails both back and front office duties. Additional administrative duties include but are not limited to:
- Scheduling appointments and procedures
- Chart preparation
- Prior authorizations
- Prescription refills
