In our Care for Her department, Medical Assistants are vital members of our patient-centered care team. You’ll be the welcoming face that sets the tone for each visit, helping patients feel supported while gathering key information that guides their care journey.

What You’ll Do
- Start each day by reviewing patient charts and participating in team huddles to ensure smooth, informed visits.
- Prepare patients for appointments by collecting vital signs and performing specialty screenings (e.g., audiometry, vision).
- Assist providers with exams, procedures, and treatments within your scope of practice
- Administer medications and vaccines in accordance with provider orders and within the Medical Assistant scope of practice
- Review medical records to confirm patients are up to date on age and condition specific preventive care.
- Help manage prescription refill requests and medication reconciliations
- Provide clear patient education and support as directed by the provider
- Maintain accurate documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)—experience with EHR systems is a plus

Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
- At least one year of experience in a clinical setting
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) fluency
