Position Title: Front Desk and Medical Assistant
Location: Dayton, NJ (Onsite)

Key Responsibilities:
Front Desk Responsibilities:
1) Patient Interaction:
- Greet patients upon arrival with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, and confirm patient information
- Address patient inquiries and concerns, either in person or over the phone.
2) Patient Check-in & Check-out:
- Verify and update patient information, including insurance details.
- Collect patient co-pays and process payments as required.
- Ensure accurate completion of patient intake forms.
3) Appointment Scheduling:
- Schedule and confirm appointments for patients, ensuring accurate and timely bookings.
- Coordinate with medical providers to ensure smooth appointment flow.
4) Administrative Support:
- Maintain organized filing systems for patient records and documents.
- Manage office supplies and reorder as necessary
- Assist with administrative duties such as faxing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
5) Insurance Verification:
- Verify patient insurance information and assist with the submission of insurance claims.
- Ensure all necessary documentation is provided to insurance companies for reimbursement.
Qualifications:
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant certification preferred.
Experience
- Previous experience in a front desk or medical office environment is need.
- Experience as a Medical Assistant (1-2 years) preferred.
Skills:
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent customer service skills and a compassionate demeanor
- Ability to multitask and handle a busy work environment.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and office procedure.
- Proficiency in computer software
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
