Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate PART TIME receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in a clinic setting. This position requires an understanding of general computing.
Since this is a small practice, we except that the role may overlap with other roles such as office flow, scheduling, and other administrative duties
** Prior experience in healthcare is desired but not required **
Expected hours (flexible): 3-4 days per week. 8am-1pm
Duties
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with medical standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic environment to promote patient safety and comfort.
- Welcome patients and checking them in. Answer phone Calls. Scheduling of appointments
- Processing payments and collecting insurance information
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care
- Manage and respond to emails and patient inquiries in a timely manner
- Coordinate communication between patients, clinical staff, and physicians
Skills
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using our electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Compassionate approach towards patient care, ensuring comfort and understanding throughout their visit.
Other physical requirements: this position may require long periods of sitting at a desk and lifting up to 20 lbs.
