Cascade Montessori is seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Guide to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of children from ages 16 months to 3 years. The Toddler Guide will implement age-appropriate activities and foster a love for learning while ensuring the well-being of each child.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Utilize behavior management techniques to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster strong relationships.
- Monitor and assess children's progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- Provide Toilet Learning on a daily basis.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience within the school.
Experience
- MUST have Lead, or Assistant, Teacher/Guide experience in a licensed Early Learning program, OR a Bachelors Degree (ECE, Child and Family Studies, Psychology, etc.)
- Must pass the application process of the Central Background Registry (CBR) prior to working eligibility.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
