Construction Site Superintendent - Multifamily, Ground Up - Stick Built - Garden Style
Now hiring a site superintendent for a Duluth, GA multifamily ground up, stick built, garden style project. Multifamily stick built experience required. Must be able to pass drug, credit, and background check. The Superintendent is responsible for managing all on-site construction activities including SAFETY, subcontractor scheduling, quality control, accuracy and compliance with construction documents, and coordination between subcontractors. Previous project experience must include new ground up-construction apartment projects. Government specification, Tax credit, low income housing, RAD, or similar experience preferred. Top candidates will have experience with each. Qualifications:
5 years experience as Multifamily Superintendent
Candidates must be competent with a computer and basic computing functions. Candidates should have experience in Procore. Reading and sending emails is a daily requirement. Must also be able to use a computer to complete daily reports, view plans and specs, or review other items.
Applicants must:
Use their management skills and experience to mentor, motivate, train, and lead their employees and subcontractors, creating a team effort and atmosphere.
Read Architectural plans including MEP, Civils, and Structural drawings and details.
Be able to anticipate issues and changes, and find solutions
Read, understand, & follow project specifications
Be able to perform layout and verify layouts by others.
Interpret drawings, and make quick accurate decisions.
Maintain a sense of humor at all times.
Take photos and complete daily reports using a smart phone in Procore.
Be able to use a computer for email, plans, reporting, and other project related tasks.
Be self starting, highly motivated and goal oriented.
Be professionally and technically competent.
Have their own reliable transportation.
Be familiar with OSHA requirements and willing to get OSHA 30 Certification within 6 months.
Have current Georgia NPDES Blue Card or obtain one within 1st month
