Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Shift Leader to join our team at Once Upon A Child. This is a new department we are developing to help with our daily operations. We are looking for a candidate to manage a staff of 4 to 6 after close to tag, hang, replenish the floor inventory. The hours will be 9 or 10 pm to 2 or 3 am Sunday-Thursday. This role, you will oversee daily operations during your shift, ensuring that our store runs smoothly and efficiently. Your leadership will be key in maintaining our high standards and creating a welcoming environment for staff. This position will report directly to the Store Manager.
Responsibilities
- Supervise store operations during assigned shifts to ensure efficiency and quality service.
- Lead and motivate team members to achieve goals and maintain store standards.
- Assist with inventory management, including stock organization and replenishment.
- Ensure cleanliness and safety of the store environment for customers and staff.
- Train new employees on company policies, procedures, and best practices.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a leadership role or customer service is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with inventory management processes is a plus.
- Must be able to lift heavy items as needed.
