All Seasons Medical Clinic is immediately hiring a Nurse Practitioner for a part-time Provider position in our Urgent Care. You will apply medical techniques and principles under the direction of a physician and you will deal with a diverse set of patients offering them care and encouragement. We offer a very flexible schedule for our employees.
Highlights of position:
- Part time (25 hours per week)
- 8 hour shifts
- 90-day financial bonus
Responsibilities:
- Perform employer-based DOT and pre-employment physicals
- Perform medical evaluation on all walk-in patients
- Perform procedures such as laceration repair, abscess drainage, ingrown toenail removal and splinting
- Call back patients with sensitive or send-out test results
- Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses
- Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
- Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
- Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care
Required qualifications:
- Nurse Practitioner-Certified
- Licensed to practice in Ohio
- Must be a DOT-certified FMCSA examiner, or willing to study for and pass the NRCME examination
- 2+ year experience in urgent care mandatory
- Must work every other weekend
- DEA license is required

- Ability to task switch efficiently between minor complaints such as rash, upper respiratory infection, muscle sprains and urinary tract infections, as well as moderate complaints such as abscesses and lacerations requiring drainage and repair.
