Job Summary
We're looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Operations & Warehouse Lead to support daily operations, lead warehouse associates, and help maintain a safe, organized, and high-performing work environment. The Operations & Warehouse Lead is responsible for assisting with the coordination of daily warehouse activities, providing guidance to warehouse staff, and ensuring efficient, accurate, and timely operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to lead by example.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and restocking.
- Lead and assist warehouse team members to meet daily performance goals and ensure adherence to company procedures.
- Monitor workflow and help allocate tasks based on operational needs.
- Train and mentor new team members on warehouse procedures and safety practices.
- Help maintain accurate inventory through regular cycle counts and audits.
- Operate warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Communicate effectively with leadership and other departments to resolve issues and ensure operational continuity.
- Ensure all customer service related issues are addressed on a daily basis across all platforms and communicated amongst leadership.
- Promote and maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of warehouse experience, with some leadership or team lead responsibilities preferred.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, safety standards, and inventory procedures.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
- Forklift certification or willingness to become certified is a plus.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
