Dana Safety Supply is seeking a successful candidate for the Operations Manager position in Westborough, MA
The Operations Manager has the responsibility of managing the daily operations of the location. In this role, constant communication must take place between the install team, warehouse personnel, sales, and management team to ensure completion of install jobs, maintenance of inventory, and customer satisfaction of the operations.
- Primary responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- The main focus of the job is maintaining local and federal contract compliance, daily management duties, inventory management, and develop and maintain knowledge of services provided.
- Ensure or direct personnel to answer phone calls and messages are directed to the appropriate individual.
- Daily inventory oversight, troubleshooting any issues.
- Determine customer needs and propose appropriate services, on an as needed basis.
- Coordinate with local third party vendors to schedule completion of outsourced tasks.
- Coordinate with drivers and transport companies for the pick-up and delivery of customer vehicles.
- Provide oversight, support, and direction to the Install Manager and install shop for completion of install jobs and addressing any issues and concerns that arise.
- Work with the Install Manager, Regional Operations Manager, and/or (Regional) General Manager to schedule install jobs.
- Ensure the on-line Shop Management tool is updated with customer and order information as vehicles are delivered to and depart from the location.
