Role Description
This is a full-time or part-time on-site role for an Optician, with flexible schedule, no weekend hours. The Optician will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, assisting clients in choosing the right frames and lenses for their needs, ordering products, and managing inventory. Additionally, the Optician will be responsible for performing various administrative duties, such as verifying insurance coverage, performing preliminary vision tests, and maintaining client records.
Qualifications
- Expertise in optics and optometry
- Commitment to customer satisfaction and exceptional customer service
- Experience in the eye care field, specifically in assisting clients with choosing frames and lenses
- Proficient in performing preliminary vision tests
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in managing inventory and ordering products is a plus
- Certification as an optician is a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
