C&D Industrial Maintenance - We started in December 2018, with the idea we could build a company that was focused on both the Technician and the Customer. Over our short history, we've grown to over 70 employees supporting the southeast. We've had some ups and downs as any new company, but the commitment to take care of our Team continues.
Let's be clear - do not apply if you don't want to put your time in to grow as an individual and help the company grow, don't apply if you simply love drama. We don't have everything figured out and hope we never will, that's the fun part. Don't apply if you don't want to have fun. We like to learn together and take care of everyone as we do it. We are not a large corporation, ran by people that you never hear from.
This is hard work, the work is challenging and dangerous at times, its normally hot and we work long hours. There is extended windshield time for Technicians, so good tunes or a podcast is required.
Ok - for Technicians this is what we are looking for:
- You've actually worked on an equipment before. We focus on commercial doors, dock equipment, automated gates, compactors (yes trash) and balers. We accept entry Technicians as well, but the Tier I entry pay is $20/hr. We are happy to train you and promote you, but please don't apply if this doesn't work for you. Experienced Techs (like real legit experience) - can start anywhere between $25 and $30 depending on proving work history.
- Troubleshooting - the majority of our business is repair/service work. Techs have to be able to understand a system and diagnose each component, breaking it down until they isolate the issue. This does not consist of showing up to the job and automatically pulling out your phone to FaceTime someone or YouTube tech support (although we do it). Bring some critical thinking to the game!
- Safety - as we stated above its a dangerous job, but getting in the water in Florida with flesh eating bacteria is to - we just take precautions. Don't apply if you drive like an idiot. We drive fully stocked F250-F600s, they are heavy and hard to stop. You can't drive them like your supped up Subbie. Plus, Personal injury law firms are somehow attracted to us must be our good looks. We want everyone home safe, looking the same as they did when they left well maybe a little greasier.
- Professionalism - We are a service company - the Customer is your priority. You cannot throw tools around, create a big mess, and sling profanity like you just came out of the club. This is our JOB and we have to be professional. If you can't shower, wash your clothes, and maintain a clean service truck - please apply elsewhere.
