Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Human Resources Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the human capital of our organization, ensuring compliance with employment and labor laws, and fostering a positive workplace culture. This position requires a strong understanding of various HR functions including talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits administration, and performance management.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of talent acquisition processes including recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
- Administer employee orientation programs to ensure new hires are effectively integrated into the company culture.
- Oversee employee evaluation processes and performance management systems to support workforce development.
- Implement change management strategies to facilitate organizational transitions and improvements.
- Ensure compliance with FMLA, OSHA regulations, and other employment laws while managing employee relations issues.
- Coordinate benefits administration and assist employees with inquiries regarding their benefits packages.
- Utilize Swept and Intuit systems for data entry and workforce management tasks.
- Conduct training & development programs to enhance employee skills and career progression.
- Support affirmative action planning and succession planning initiatives within the organization.
- Collaborate with management on strategic planning and organization design efforts to align HR practices with business goals.
- Maintain accurate records of employee data collection and reporting for compliance purposes.
- Utilize various platforms for efficient recruitment processes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in human resources management or related administrative roles.
- Strong knowledge of employment & labor law, change management practices, and human capital management principles.
- Proficiency in HR sourcing techniques and talent management strategies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage conflict effectively.
- Familiarity with payroll systems such as Paychex, Dayforce, or Paylocity is preferred.
- Experience with social media management for recruitment purposes is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while demonstrating strong project management skills.

Pay: $23.02 - $27.72 per hour
