## Overview
We are seeking a skilled Pastry Cook. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating delicious pastries and desserts in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts
- Decorate pastries using various techniques
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Monitor food stock and place orders when needed
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and high-quality service
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Experience working in a restaurant or bakery setting
- Proficient in pastry techniques including baking, decorating, and plating
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations
- Ability to use kitchen tools and equipment such as mixers, ovens, and knives
- Creativity in cake decorating and pastry presentation
- Culinary certification or relevant training is a plus
