Payroll
- Process payroll for 100+ employees across bi-weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly pay cycles using Paylocity.
- Maintain accurate payroll records, adjustments, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations- Multi State.
- Respond to payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.
Recruitment
- Manage full-cycle recruiting: job posting, sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Collaborate with managers to identify staffing needs and create job descriptions.
- Screen candidates and schedule interviews to meet hiring timelines.
- Participate in job fairs, campus recruiting, and networking events.
- Maintain applicant tracking and recruiting metrics.
HR Generalist Support
- Handle employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
- Assist with employee onboarding, offboarding, and personnel file management.
- Conduct exit interviews and process termination documentation.
- Support compliance initiatives, internal audits, and reporting.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
Qualifications:
- Paylocity experience is required (minimum 1 year).
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Human Resources, or a related business field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Minimum 1 year of payroll and HR experience.
- Strong understanding of payroll systems, deductions, and labor laws- Multi-state.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Traits:
- Adaptable, collaborative, and proactive in solving problems.
- Experience in manufacturing or multi-site environments is a plus.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and recruiting platforms.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
