Overview:
The PBX Agent is responsible for handling all incoming calls, guest inquiries, and internal communications with professionalism and efficiency. While primarily focused on PBX duties, this role will assist the Front Desk during high-occupancy periods, breaks, or as directed by the Front Office Manager. The ideal candidate will have strong multitasking abilities, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding guest service
What You'll Be Doing
- Answer all incoming phone calls promptly (within three rings) with a courteous and professional demeanor.
- Qualify callers to ensure proper call transfers and assist when possible.
- Provide a warm greeting and farewell, ensuring guests feel valued.
- Manage wake-up call requests following the script to enhance the guest experience.
- Keep up with Zingle messages in collaboration with the Front Desk team.
- Monitor and respond to "Contact Us" emails, addressing inquiries or forwarding them to the appropriate person.
- Keep the team informed by forwarding emails to the front desk distribution list with status updates.
- Maintain up-to-date in-house information by running the Emergency Report and In-House Listing every two hours.
- Monitor and distribute incoming faxes.
- Stock paper in copiers and printers to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist the Front Desk with check-in and check-out during peak times, ensuring accurate records, fulfilling special requests, and processing payments.
- Assign rooms for guests receiving amenities, marking them accordingly in the system.
- Process charges such as water and laundry fees as needed.
- Pull and alphabetically file departing registration cards using the Departure Report.
- Provide support to the Front Desk team by covering breaks and assisting during busy periods.
- Address and resolve guest concerns efficiently, ensuring a positive outcome.
- Follow up on guest opportunities via phone when appropriate.
- Assist in the upkeep of HotSOS orders, including following up with guests after service requests are completed.
Compensation:
$19.00/hour

Hours:
This is a 24-7, 365 day a year business that will require some work during evenings, weekends and holidays. A flexible schedule that can move between shifts and days as needed is highly desired.
