Sales Associate – Howl to the Chief

Do you love animals and enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment? Howl to the Chief, a neighborhood small business pet store, is looking for a dedicated Sales Associate to join our pack!
What you’ll do:
- Welcome every customer (and their pup!) with warmth and friendliness.
- Keep shelves fully stocked and the store neat, clean, and organized.
- Deliver excellent customer service while creating a fun, informative shopping experience.
- Assist customers by learning and sharing pet nutrition knowledge to provide educated product recommendations.
- Perform cashier duties quickly and accurately.
- Help with inventory checks and shipments (3x per week).
- Support your team while maintaining a positive, professional attitude.
What we’re looking for:
- Someone passionate about animals, comfortable working around dogs, and familiar with pet care.
- A reliable team player with strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable personality.
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand, bend, and move for extended periods.
- Computer-savvy with an updated email address for team communication.
- At least 18 years old.
- Previous experience in a high-volume retail or customer service environment is a plus.
