Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Production Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining production equipment while ensuring that products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. You will play a key part in troubleshooting production issues, performing routine maintenance, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the production line.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate production equipment.
Monitor and test equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues in real time.
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery.
Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met.
Maintain accurate shift and production reports.
Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and efficiency.
Adhere strictly to all safety procedures and company policies.
Analyze production data to identify and recommend improvements.
Required SkillsQualifications
High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing technology, or industrial technology preferred.
Industry certifications such as Certified Manufacturing Technologist (CMfgT), Certified Production Technician (CPT), or Certified Quality Technician (CQT) highly desirable.
Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Knowledge of industry-specific equipment, including HMIs, robots, cobots, and automation systems.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Attention to detail with excellent decision-making skills.
Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance procedures.
Physical dexterity and the ability to lift, move, and handle materials as required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
Work EnvironmentConditions
Schedule: Rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, in support of 24/7 operations.
Physical Demands: Standing/walking for long periods, lifting heavy objects, repetitive motions, and occasional work in confined spaces or at heights.
Psychological Demands: Ability to remain calm under pressure, troubleshoot quickly, and meet production deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
