Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both residential and commercial painting, with experience in various techniques and materials. This role requires attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. The Painter will be responsible for delivering high-quality finishes on a variety of surfaces while adhering to safety standards on construction sites.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as needed.
- Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Mix paint according to specifications and ensure color accuracy.
- Perform plastering, caulking, and trim carpentry as part of the finishing process.
- Conduct restoration work on existing structures while maintaining quality standards.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on renovation projects to ensure cohesive results.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Follow safety protocols on construction sites to ensure personal safety and the safety of others.
Experience
- Proven experience in residential and commercial painting is essential.
- Experience with plastering, stucco application, concrete finishing, masonry work, or maintenance person tasks is a plus.
- Ability to operate airless paint spraying equipment effectively.
- Previous experience in renovation projects or fixture installation is advantageous.
