Job Description

HII Mission Technolgoies is seeking a skilled Program Travel Analyst to support our customer in Falls Church, VA. The ideal candidate will assist the team with all travel related inquiries, coordination, and expensing while aligning itineraries with project schedules and budgets and ensuring smooth stakeholder communication between our customer, project team and vendors. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Organizes travel for project team members, inclduing transportation, lodging, and itneraries, in compliance with company policies and government regulations.
  • Ensures travel plans align with project timelines and budget constraints while coordinating with external vendors and service providers.
  • Tracks and manages travel expenses, maintains detailed records for reporting and auditing purposes and addresses any issues or changes promptly to minimize disruptions.
  • Supports communication between stakeholders to ensure that all travel-related needs are met efficiently, contributing to the overall success of the project's integration and testing phases.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 1 year relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience.
  • Client experience requirements: Between 6 to 15 years of relevant experience.
  • Client education requirements: BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Finance, Travel Tourism, Hospitality Management, or a relevant field.
    • 4 years of additional equivalent experience can be substituted for a BA/BS degree.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • A proactive and eager-to-learn attitude.

Preferred Requirements

  • An active Secret Security Clearance.
  • Experience with Defense Travel System (DTS) or similarly related travel systems.
  • Understanding of corporate and/or government travel policies and regulations.

Physical Requirements

Job performance will normally require only minor lifting and carrying of boxes of records or equipment.
