Overview:
We are seeking a Qualified Supervising Professional (QSP) to join our team and play a key role in overseeing the delivery and compliance of Early Intensive Developmental and Behavioral Intervention (EIDBI) services. The QSP will provide clinical leadership, ensure high-quality care, and support providers in delivering effective interventions for individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or related conditions. All candidates must be licensed to practice in the state of Minnesota.
Qualifications
Candidates must meet one of the following professional requirements:✔ Physician – Must be (i) certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology; (ii) certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Neurology and Psychiatry; or (iii) eligible for board certification in psychiatry.✔ Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) – Must have their certification in adult or family psychiatric and mental health nursing by a national nurse certification organization.✔ Developmental or Behavioral Pediatrician✔ Licensed Mental Health Professional, as defined in Minn. Stat. §245I.04, subd. 2.✔ Licensed Behavior Analyst under Minnesota Statutes, 148.99861, subdivision 7 (Laws of Minn. 2024, chapter 127, article 19, section 1.)
Additionally, candidates must meet one of the following experience or education requirements:✔ 2,000 hours of clinical experience and/or training in the examination and treatment of individuals with ASD or a related condition (must be documented in personnel file), OR✔ Equivalent graduate-level coursework in one or more of the following:
- ASD or related condition diagnostics
- ASD or related condition treatment strategies
- Child development
Additional Requirements:✅ Must be licensed in Minnesota and provide treatment within their scope of practice✅ Experience in supervision, compliance, and service management preferred✅ Individually enrolled in Minnesota Health Care Programs (MHCP)
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, approve, and sign Individual Treatment Plans (ITP)
- Ensure EIDBI services align with the individual’s and family’s goals, culture, and language
- Supervise, manage, and oversee EIDBI services, ensuring compliance with documentation and clinical standards
- Train and oversee Level I, II, and III providers to maintain service fidelity
- Perform all clinical supervision duties as required by licensing board regulations
- Maintain a caseload that allows for active planning, supervision, and quality service delivery
