Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Busser to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Busser plays a crucial role in ensuring that our dining area is clean, organized, and welcoming for our guests. This position requires a strong commitment to hospitality and teamwork, as you will be assisting servers and kitchen staff to deliver an exceptional dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Clear and clean tables promptly after guests leave to prepare for the next customers.
- Assist servers by refilling drinks, delivering food items, and providing support during busy service periods.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including floors, tables, and service stations.
- Help set up and break down dining areas for special events or catering services.
- Ensure that all utensils, glassware, and plates are properly cleaned and stored.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food items and assist with food handling as needed.
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food service and handling.
Experience
- Previous experience in the hospitality or food service industry is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with bussing techniques and restaurant operations is a plus.
- A strong desire to help others and work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for interacting with guests and team members alike.
