Job Summary
The Emergency Services Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care for all patients admitted to the Emergency Department during their shift.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Graduation from a school of nursing with a current RN license.
- Licensure: A current RN license, which can be a compact license, is required.
- Experience: One year of Medical/Surgical experience is preferred.
- Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) is required within 30 days of hire or before the completion of the orientation period.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is required within 6 months.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is required within 6 months.
- An Advanced Stroke Course is preferred.
