Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas within the hotel. This role is essential in ensuring a positive experience for our guests through exceptional housekeeping services.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to established standards.
- Change bed linens, towels, and replenish guest supplies as needed.
- Dust, vacuum, and polish furniture and fixtures to maintain a tidy environment.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used safely and efficiently.
- Assist with laundry duties when necessary to support overall housekeeping operations.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and hospitality at all times while interacting with guests and team members.
Skills
- Strong attention to detail in cleaning and organizing tasks.
- Experience in housekeeping management within a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and custodial best practices.
- Familiarity with floor care procedures, including sweeping, mopping, and buffing.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- A positive attitude with a commitment to providing outstanding service to guests.
