SUMMARY: The sales project manager will support our sales and marketing efforts, drive outreach initiatives, and ensure smooth execution of quoting and order processes. This role is critical in bridging the gap between sales, planning, engineering, and customer engagement, and will play a key part in identifying new opportunities, managing orders, and maintaining compliance.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
QUALIFICATIONS
- Conduct cold calling and outreach to potential customers.
- Follow up on inbound leads and new project opportunities.
- Develop and execute outreach campaigns (email, social media, advertising).
Sales Process Management
- Coordinate with engineering to prioritize and complete deliverables for quotes and orders.
- Prepare and review sales orders for accuracy and compliance.
- Manage and update the Quote Log; follow up on outstanding quote opportunities.
- Prepare and assemble proposal documents for quotations.
- Organize and lead sales meetings.
Government & Compliance
- Monitor government solicitations on platforms like SAM.gov.
- Ensure timely response to solicitations and avoid missed opportunities.
- Manage customer compliance activities including reps and certs, CDRLs (Contractor Data Requirement Lists), agency renewals, and satisfaction surveys.
- Verify order compliance with SOPs and industry standards.
Customer & Project Coordination
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers.
- Attend production meetings, track project milestones, and trigger milestone invoicing.
- Coordinate factory visits and customer tours.
- Manage repeat design orders and ensure proper documentation.
- Download/upload documents from customer portals and retrieve reference specifications.
Administrative & Support Duties
- Manage CDRL development, collation, and submission.
- Provide coverage for sales personnel during travel and vacation.
- Coordinate and attend trade shows and technical conferences.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude / ability to understand mechanical and hydraulic equipment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
